Legal-Admin Assistant

 

Responsibilities:

- File management, including drafting letters, opening/closing files, utilizing BF system

- Drafting court documents and orders

- Managing lawyers’ calendars, including organizing travel, coordinating court services

- Additional admin duties as required. 

 

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited legal administrative assistant program

- Experience in legal administrative position

- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel

- Experience with PC Law is an asset;

- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Capacity to handle a busy practice, including prioritizing and meeting workload/deadlines

- A highest level of accuracy with attention to detail

 

Compensation:

- Commensurate with experience

- Extended health benefits available

 

Hours of Work:

- Full-time hours 8:30 am – 4:30 (35 hrs per week) Mon-Friday

- In person workdays – no remote working options
